501 Day

May 1st is just another day to the world, but to us it is a day to be recognized. 5/01 will be written millions of times that day, and billions will not know the significance; but in Sherwood and the Central Arkansas region, we know 501 is a glorious 3 number combination. A date on all calendar books, 5/01 also signifies the area code for Sherwood and the Central Arkansas area. For obvious reasons, we as a 501 community have chosen to celebrate this brilliant federation of great cities on 5/01.
 
We are asking local businesses to join in this celebration with discounts, events, or however you want to celebrate 501 and all the people working together to make it the place we all love to call home.  We will be promoting these discounts and events on a website shared by all in the 501-area code.
 
Please reach out to the Sherwood Chamber and let us know how you will celebrate, so we can share and promote our small businesses.  At the end of day on 5/01, we will be celebrating with a family friendly concert for all in the Sherwood and surrounding area.  More events and information to come!
