Academic Signing Day

Sherwood Chamber of Commerce and First Security Bank present the Academic Signing Day for the Sherwood Class of 2025.  The qualifications for recognition are as follows:

• Graduating senior of Sylvan Hills High School, Abundant Life Christian Academy, Lisa Academy North High School, or home-schooled and living in the Sherwood school district
• 3.8 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Recognized in one of these five areas:

1. Recipient of a top scholarship from a four-year accredited college/university you plan to attend
2. National Merit Finalist or Scholar
3. Accepted into a United States Service Academy
4. Selected as a winner of a state or national scholarship program
5. Recipient of the Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship or Governor’s Scholarship

The deadline to apply for 2024 recognition is April 18th. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
Applicants will be notified by April 22nd if they have met application requirements.
